Farm to Cup Coffee Brewing Workshop with SCA Trainer Maryam Tabatabaei
Maryam Tabatabaei, SCA Trainer, led a hands-on V60, French Press and Aeropress brewing workshop with Farm to Cup in Dubai.
Farm to Cup recently hosted a hands-on coffee brewing workshop in Dubai, led by Maryam Tabatabaei, SCA Trainer, introducing participants to three popular manual brewing methods: V60, French Press, and Aeropress.

The workshop focused on practical learning, with participants brewing coffee alongside Maryam and exploring each method step by step. Papua New Guinea coffee was brewed using the V60, while Brazil coffee was used for the French Press and Brazil Cerrado for the Aeropress.
How Brewing Method Shapes the Cup
Beyond learning the brewing process, participants experienced how different brewing methods can influence extraction, flavour, and the final cup. The interactive format made the session both educational and enjoyable, with everyone getting the opportunity to brew and taste their own coffee.

Farm to Cup’s monthly coffee brewing workshops offer coffee enthusiasts an engaging way to develop their manual brewing skills with guidance from an experienced SCA Trainer. For anyone who wants to go further — from tasting the difference to being able to explain and control it — Maryam’s Brewing Skills — Foundation course covers V60, Chemex and French Press brewing in full.
